  • Week 11: Fantasy Football Studs and Duds

Here are our picks for this week’s surprise performers – both good and bad. If you need to vent (or boast) about one of these players (or a player we missed), please do so in the comments below. You don’t need to be registered to join in on the discussion! STUDS:   Bobby Rainey (TB) RB – 167 TOTAL YDS / 3 TD Bobby Rainey had his coming out party this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. While he had a decent game in week 10, you still deserve a pat on the back if you started him. When something like this happens to a previously dud-worthy running back, we find ourselves reacting like the coaches in the bleachers, watching Forrest. Run, Bobby, run! (Pop culture reference #2 – “Rainey Bobby wants to go fast!”)       Michael Floyd (ARI) WR – 193 YDS This week, Michael Floyd was a nice surprise for people in deep leagues that had no other choice but to play him as their flex receiver. He has been a consistently mediocre flex option, but his 91-yard week 11 highlight showed some major talent. Still, it’s gonna take a lot more to earn Floyd any real fantasy respect. What got into him this week? Someone must have asked him if he wanted to go fast…     Ben Roethlisberger (PIT) QB– 379 TOTAL YDS / 4 TD While Ben Roethlisberger is no stranger to stud status, this year hasn’t been his...
