Report: Floyd Mayweather, Conor McGregor set to announce fight

According to Barry Moran of The Sun is reporting that Connor McGregor, 28, and Floyd Mayweather, 40, are set to announce a much anticipated fight early this coming week. The “Notorious” and “The Greatest Ever” haven’t been exactly quiet about exchanging bashings in the media about each other.

Below is the latest exchance between the two.

McGregor’s boss, Dana White, has been negotiating with Mayweather’s camp since McGregor is under contract with the UFC.

Floyd Mayweather, 49-0, officially announced earlier in March that he was coming out of retirement just to fight Connor McGregor.

A source of Moran’s said: “Both sides have agreed a fee, date and venue. It’s all ready to be announced early next week.”

Our early guess will be the fight happens in September in Las Vegas at the MGM. Whenever it is, this fight will break records that might never be broken. You can read Moran’s article here, also.
