DraftKings NBA Recommendations for Dec. 25th

Point Guard

Kyrie Irving (CLE) $7,700 vs. Warriors

Kyrie Irving has been on an absolute tear as of late. He has double-doubled in three of his past four games and faces a Warriors team he shredded last year in the Finals. He averaged 27.1 points in the Finals and this season, he has increased his assists to 5.5 per game.

Shooting Guard

Avery Bradley (BOS) $6,000 vs. Knicks

Avery Bradley doesn’t need to score to produce DraftKings points, and that’s something owners need in their lineups. He is 6’2’’ and STILL leading his team in rebounding per game (7.3). The Knicks are the 7th worst team in defending the shooting guard position in the last five games, according to Rotowire.com.

Small Forward

Kevin Durant (GS) $9,500 vs. Cavaliers

Kevin Durant is averaging 31.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and five assists in six Christmas Day games. He has increased his rebounds per game this season and maintained his 4.6 assists. This game is a day-high of 222 total points.

Power Forward

Draymond Green (GS) $8,000 vs. Cavaliers

Draymond Green just brings his best every time he plays Cleveland. Though he’s only averaging 10.4 points per game this season, you don’t think he won’t want to stick it to his bitter rival, LeBron James? His $8,000 value is worth it. Don’t count against a triple-double for Green today.

Steven Adams (OKC) $5,000 vs. Timberwolves

Steven Adams brings a consistent 20+ DraftKings fantasy point effort every night. The Timberwolves roll out a traditional power forward and center every night, so Adams could be on the floor more than usual. He will be matched up against Karl Anthony-Towns most of the evening. As they say in Taken, “Good luck.”

Iman Shumpert (CLE) $4,100 vs. Warriors

Iman Shumpert should be in line for big minutes this afternoon. The two teams will deploy guard heavy sets and Shumpert will be asked to guard either Steph Curry or Klay Thompson. Though he doesn’t start, Shumpert will accumulate some steals and a few 3-pointers. He is a very likely boom-or-bust candidate.

Julius Randle (LAL) $5,700 vs. Clippers

Julius Randle might be the Lakers second best playmaker and the Clippers are down Blake Griffin to stop him. He has been revitalized his past three games and has had five days to rest due to the birth of his child.

Joakim Noah (NYK) $3,900 vs. Celtics

Joakim Noah’s minutes increased the past two games averaging about 28 minutes. Noah has had three days to rest. The Celtics also deploy a traditional power forward and center combo. Noah has a great chance to maximize his low DraftKings value.
