Matthew Stafford – The QB position is a dazzling one for the 2014 season. We like Matt Stafford to take an even bigger step forward this year. With the acquisition of Golden Tate and Eric Ebron, Stafford adds more sizzle to an arsenal that already included Calvin Johnson, Reggie Bush and Joique Bell. Reggie Bush stated that the Lions New Offensive Scheme is “exactly the same” as the one he learned with the Saints. With new OC Joe Lombardi aboard (Previously spending his last 7 seasons in New Orleans) look for him to bring an up-tempo look to the Detroit Offense in 2014. During Lombardi’s time in the NOLA, their offense ranked: 1st, 2nd, 6th, 1st, 1st & 4th in Total Offense. We’re buying the Detroit Offense and recommending Stafford as a no doubt QB for 2014.

Giovani Bernard – Out with the old and in with the new in Cincy! Many people may not recognize that Bernard didn’t start a single game in 2013, but Marvin Lewis and the Gang expect big things as Bernard is seen as receiving first-team reps already. Previous OC Jay Gruden allowed Andy Dalton to toss 586 passes last season (The Red Rifle averaged 543 Passing Attempts over the past 3 Seasons). New OC Hue Jackson is dedicated to the ground game and the philosophy will be adapted in 2014. Expect Bernard to be heavily utilized as a dual-threat this season with break-out potential. (BTW – Bernard had 56 Receptions in 2013, which was 8th amongst RB’s)

Percy Harvin – There are guys like Golden Tate, Emmanuel Sanders and Doug Baldwin that we think can be grabbed later and you can hit the “Like Button” on. However, we want to get this guy back on Fantasy Owners’ radar – Don’t sleep on Percy Harvin. In conversation after a recent OTA, Harvin (26 Years Old) expressed, “this is probably the best I’ve felt since before college.” This is an explosive and game-changing player who can light-up the stat card. We like him as a strong 2WR who can have electrifying games, putting up monstrous stats in the process.

Montee Ball – The Denver RB is in store for a huge season as he is slotted as the sure-fire starting RB behind a Peyton Manning led offense. Ball should see exposure in both the running and receiving game in 2014. With Knowshon Moreno gone, Ball will get the opportunity many thought he would run with in 2013. We see boom potential here and recommend him as he is complemented by one of the top offenses in the NFL.

Golden Tate – 2013 was rock-solid for Tate, but we expect his success to exceed above and beyond that what he has produced to this point. Tate has never gone for 1,000 Receiving Yards in a season, but playing opposite of Calvin Johnson certainly has its benefits. (See above under Matt Stafford for additional details). Look for new OC Joe Lombardi to use Tate as New Orleans did Lance Moore, however the athleticism of Tate triumphs anything Moore brought to the table. Tate should see his overall numbers increase across the board along with Targets as his gun-slinging QB has no hesitance of letting it fly downfield early and often. Look for solid numbers all season from Golden Taint!

Eddie Lacy – The Packers have been “Pass, Pass, Pass” for so long that it sends owners doing a double-take when they hear, “Eddie Lacy – Top 5 RB”. Lacy went for 1,178 Rushing Yards on 284 Attempts, 257 Receiving Yards on 35 Receptions and 11 TDs in 2013. Yes, Green Bay lost Aaron Rodgers for 7 Games in 2013 and relied heavily on Lacy. However, we expect every-bit of that balanced attack to continue – making both Rodgers and Lacy that more potent of offensive weapons going forward. Grab Lacy in your drafts and ride him to the Championship in 2014.

Eagles Offense – Nick Fierro (PHI Beat Writer) writes, the Philly Offense is “moving so much faster between plays” at OTAs, and “the Eagles are making significant strides in that area … It was like a drag race out there.” Chip Kelly wants the tempo increased in 2014 as the Eagles finished 12th in the NFL in plays from scrimmage last season. Our Favorite Eagles Options include – Shady McCoy, Nick Foles, Jeremy Maclin.
