PPR Need 2 for my flex, Lacy and I do have Starks, Stacy, Fitzgerald, Allen, or J. Cameron. I have Brady and McCown, if by a rare chance McCown starts which one would I go with? Thanks for all your help, I’m 11-2!

Nice job on the record! I’d probably go Lacy and Stacy. It’s early to tell right now, weather could play a huge factor. I do really like Allen this week as well.

Kind of confused by your rankings on the RB’s PPR. You’ve got Andre Brown NYG at 6!!! And Eddie Lacy at 15!? McCoy at 7!? I actually have McCoy, Forte, Brown, and Lacy on my team and WAS going to roll with McCoy, Forte, and Lacy, but now I’m wondering why you have Brown rated so high after a bad game last week, he’s on the Giants, and he’s playing one of the toughest Rush D’s in the league in Seattle. And McCoy so low. Whereas Lacy has been more or less amazing all year and has one of the cushiest matchups of all the RB’s against the seive of a Dallas D. I’m I missing something that you know and I don’t? And McCoy is and always has been beast, and now has the 3rd easiest Rush D to slaughter. Again, I’m I missing something here? You are obviously killing it this year in the rankings overall and in RBs, so I value your opinion greatly and would like to hear WHY you think Brown is going to do so well and why McCoy and Lacy are rated so low. Thanks man

FantasyPros automatically updates the PPR rankings based off our STD Rankings. Just ask us and we’ll give you a short PPR rank. You gotta go with McCoy Forte and Lacy (if he plays). Keep an eye on his injury report. Lacy’s injury scares me, if he looks iffy or at a time share, you gotta go Brown.

Been debating with myself over who to start at my flex in this semifinal match-up. My two best options are Rashad Jennings vs KC or Donald Brown vs HOU. Both players failed to score 5pts against either team the first time they played this season. Your insight would be much appreciated. Thank you!

    • Legion Report

      December 12, 2013 at 5:50 PM

I like Jennings if he plays. KC’s D doesn’t scare me as much since this big rivalry game is going to be played in the Black Hole. If Jennings is able to carry the entire workload, you’ll be fine with him this week. As far as Brown goes, I’m not sure Brown can do anything for you. I like Ogbonnaya against CHI (CHI has allowed 6 consecutive RB’s to rush for 100 yards and the past 3 games CHI is averaging 234 rush yards per game). I also like Toddman as a low end RB2 if MJD is out. Like both those guys over Brown, all 3 are risky… Go Dover!

Brady or Kaep this week? Matt Ryan is on waivers, if I can get him would he be better than both options? And I have T. Smith, V. Jackson, R. White, C. Shorts as well as josh gordon. My runnin backs are S. Vereen, D. Murray, S. Ridley, C. Ivory, and D. Pitta at my other tight end (Jimmy Graham is my starter). Who should be my WR2, my RB 2 ( I have murray and Gordon already starting) and who should be my flex out of the rest?

Jordan and Legion Report, you are doing an outstanding job and I have really enjoyed perusing your rankings this year. Congrats on your success with FantasyPros.

Just curious about something: are you expecting that Josh McCown will start, or maybe Cutler will play briefly and get hurt and exit the game? Just wondered. I would not be surprised if that happens; guys are usually brought back too soon after high ankle sprains.

    Thanks and good luck

Last week I started Foles and Rainey over Cam and Spiller(no idea it was going to snow like that). So you would start Foles over Cam this week? The delimma is I also have Djax, and Cooper, -with Mike Wallace being my only other viable WR option. Would you roll the dice on starting all 3 eagles or is that to risky? My playoff matchup has Mccoy on his team but I just think if either one of these qbs is going to have 3+ TDs its Foles. Im also going with Spiller over Rainey. PLEASE HELP LOL! Thanks!

Your rankings indicate starting Ace Sanders over Michael Crabtree. Would you really advise doing that this week? I know Ace has been picking it up as of late, but his situation is horrible for WR’s. None of those guys in Jax ever score. I have Crabtree slotted as my WR3 right now with Sanders, Da’Rick Rodgers, and Andre Holmes on my bench. Is there any glaring game-changer that I’m missing here?

    • Legion Report

      December 14, 2013 at 1:43 AM

I really don’t like either, Crabtree is going up against Revis and he’s battling a tweaked ankle which is scary headings to a playoff game. Shorts is a very questionable call, if he doesn’t play Ace sees a boost in production. Rankings will be updated Saturday night, Crabtree is going to come up a little, but don’t count on a huge game. It’s a matter of time when Crabtree busts out, it’s just hard to say it’ll be this week…

    PPR Leauge
Campbell, Cousins, Josh McCown (Palmer and Fitz available)
Bush, Lacy, Ellington, Ivory, Gerhart, Starks
    Gordon, Allen, Torrey, Burleson, McCluster
    Jimmy Graham, Vernon Davis

Right now I’m starting Campbell. I dropped RG3 and I had been starting McCown. Is it worth it to pick up Palmer @TEN?

Are you leaving Reggie Bush in your lineup or is it too risky? And if he can’t go and I find out in time, I’m playing Ellington over Ivory, right?

Plan to flex Vernon Davis, but I am concerned about his lack of targets. Do I have a better option to flex?

    Thanks!

    • Legion Report

      December 14, 2013 at 1:54 AM

Cousins has the most favorable matchup, ATL is ranked 28th against QBs. Starting him is really risky though. The other ones all have tough magchups, that’s a tough call. I think I’d go Cousins, but its a Russian Roulette choice.

Obviously go Bush, just keep an eye out on the injury report and his practice schedule. Go Ellington over Ivory, don’t like the CAR matchup.

I like Torry Smith over Vernon – you gotta go him against a very weak DET secondary. Hs a safer starts and gives you a better big game potential. Good luck!!

Would you roll Crabtree and Stevie Johnson out there this week, or would you start the likes of Andre Holmes, Ace Sanders, or Da’Rick Rogers?

    • Legion Report

      December 14, 2013 at 2:01 AM

I dont really like any of these guys, but I’d go Stevie Johnson. He hasn’t scored a TD since Week 8 but EJ Manuel likes going his way. All these guys are a coin flip this week. If Shorts sits this one out, Acey will see a boost in production.

PPR Flex-Lacy, Stacy, Gerhart,,or Fitzgerald? My other RB’s are Charles and Forte. I played Allen last night to be safe as my other flex, not knowing about Lacy last night. and for QB- Brady or drop McCown for Cutler and play him? Everything I read this week, everyone is so down on Brady.

    • Legion Report

      December 14, 2013 at 2:04 AM

I’d probably go Stacy over Lacy just because we’re not certain with Lacys health right now. Also, go Brady over Cutler.

Trying to determine who to start at flex:
-Colston (inconsistent but against weak rams secondary)
-E.Sanders (TD in each of past 3 games against a battered bengals secondary who will try to stop antonio brown all day)
-Gerhart (assuming he plays but is hampered by hammie)
    -Todman (assuming MJD sits)

      December 14, 2013 at 11:57 PM

Just updated our rankings. Mia is 4th in the league vs. QBs. Brady has been smoking defenses for yards lately going 296, 344, 371 and 418 vs. Car, Den, Hou, Cle. The aspect of Gronk being out hurts tremendously, but we think they don’t stop what’s been working. However, we like Wilson slightly more. Besides the SF game last week, Wilson has dialed up multi td games since week 7. We like Wilson more – Go him.

Eeh … To put it on record, we don’t like any of them. But, we feel that CJ?K gives you your best opportunity for certainty points. Detroit ranks 3rd in the league vs. the TE position. Lamar Miller is an enigma and offers no upside.

In a very tough matchup in the first round of playoffs. Standard scoring and need two for flex: Riley Cooper, Edelman and Ben Tate. I have Brady and Foles at QB, and plan to play Foles. Help me beat the other middle-school teachers at my school during my first season of fantasy football. Thanks for your great advice!

    • Legion Report

      December 15, 2013 at 12:16 AM

You are right in going with Foles over Brady. We think with Gronk out, Edelman is a smart start. Ben Tate is streaky, but we think you should go him as well. Indi ranks as 29th in the NFL in rushing defense. We like Cooper, but are torn due to the fact that he’s averaging only 3 receptions over the past 4 games. We think Edelman and Tate will have the ball in their hands more and have a better opportunity to produce big numbers. Best of Luck!

    December 14, 2013 at 3:17 PM

Quick question. I’m thoroughly confused by “expert” rankings of Vincent Jackson. I have to choose between VJax, Crabtree, DaRick Rogers, or Nate Burleson for my flex spot PPR league. If you look at VJax stats for the year, he’s only had 4 great games, every other game has been a horrible dud or around 10-15 pts. He is NOT a WR1 and is SUPER inconsistent, but VERY consistently plays good against bad pass D and plays bad against good pass D. So he’s playing San Fran, who is not only one of the best D’s in the league, but one of the best pass D’s in the league. Crabtree is playing pretty good already and has a top 7 easiest pass D (last 5 weeks) this week in Tampa. DaRick Rogers is a freak, is going to be the #2 WR on his team this week, played amazing last week, and even though Houston is overall good against the pass for the season, they still let in a decent amount of fantasy points to WR’s on avg (most weeks they let in 15-20pts for one WR, and 10-15 for the other). So knowing all of that, how can “experts” rank VJax so much higher then these guys? It makes no statistical sense and you would think Crabtree, Rogers, and Burleson would all be as high or higher then VJax knowing how bad he does in general and how bad he does against good pass D’s. Can you give me some of your insight on this and WHY you guys think VJax is a better play then all 3 of those guys? Thanks

    • Legion Report

      December 15, 2013 at 12:24 AM

Go VJax. He has higher upside this week. We’re not sold on Rogers yet, especially in Week 15 Semi-Finals games. Crabtree has been getting Targets, but has a tweaked ankle and will see Revis on Sunday. We think VJax provides both upside and stability for owners.
